Work.
I spread myself thick like a Renaissance woman should. Below you will find an array of design and writing pieces that begin to show the endless fascination I have for almost everything.

Nüs:
News service that leverages social connections to deliver personalized news

Microsoft & Motorola coincidentally presented the theme of the 2010 Design Challenge ("Social Meets Service") at the same time that news sources, with NYTimes.com leading the crusade, began to put their foot down about digital content cost. Our team had already established interest in the weary state of public information, government, and journalism. As more and more market research informed us of evolving public perceptions of news, information, and personal lifestyle, it was clear we would be developing a service that could extend and aggregate information on a personal and social level.

After some extremely thorough research (and lots of fun), the concept of "nüs" emerged. nüs is an adaptive Web and mobile service that uses collaborative filtering through recommendation engine technology to deliver fine-tuned news content personal to the user. Additionally, nüs incorporates the user's environment and prescribed interests to deliver contextually relevant news. The user's environment also determines the format of the news presentation.

But perhaps nüs' most versatile feature is its business model. News services can come together to form "packages," entities that unite to streamline subscription costs and do away with individual subscription fees. The model ensures affluent results and, best of all, sustainability.

Web sites are my fave. I follow a routine of including the client in the brainstorming and ideating process (no surprises). Ask me more about my Web design process, because I love to talking about it.
